If you think about Hakuba Goryu, this location has 2 resorts under one roof. You can use the same passes at Goryu and Hakuba 47 and this may confuse some visitors because it has 3 zones. We have circled these locations in the map below to show the 2 resorts. The yellow zone (Escal Plaza) is the only location with night skiing so if you are looking to do night skiing at all, head there! The red zone (Iimori resthouse) has the most locations for different beginner and first-timer slopes which we will not recommend but the ski school here is highly recommended. The blue zone (Base Lodge Euclid) is the place for intermediate riders and above with a complicated lift system catering to any different runs. Don’t be fooled by the long green run as it is not suitable for beginners.
