This ski resort is incredibly huge with 4 base locations. Nakiyama, Shirakaba, Kokusai and Sakka.
Happo One has one of the best first-timer areas and we recommend heading to Nakiyama when starting out on flat-terrain. There are also restaurants and Nakiyama Snowland to keep the kids occupied.
For beginners and more experienced first-timers, we would highly recommend Sakka as a good starting base location to hit some of its wide and accessible mellow slopes.
Advanced riders would definitely not need a second invitation to head the Kurobishi area; located at the top of the mountain, filled with loads of restaurants and cafes options as well as a range of intermediate to advanced level trail courses.
